1. Our Role
Tidetribe curates and coordinates small-group travel experiences in partnership with trusted local operators.
We handle bookings, communication, and overall trip coordination, while on-the-ground activities are delivered by experienced local crews and guides.

2. Nature of Travel
Our trips take place in remote, natural environments and may include: Boat travel, Swimming and snorkeling / Zero or Limited wifi / Limited electricity / Possible sand flies and mosquitos / variable weather and sea conditions. These elements are part of the experience — and part of what makes it special.

3. Assumption of Risk
By joining a trip, you acknowledge that: Travel and outdoor activities involve inherent risks / You choose to participate voluntarily. You accept responsibility for your own safety and decisions during the trip

4. Fitness to Participate
By booking, you confirm that:
You are physically fit for boat travel and water-based activities / You are comfortable in open water environments / You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions. We reserve the right to refuse participation if safety may be compromised.

5. Safety & Conduct
For the safety of everyone on board, you agree to: Follow all instructions from crew and guides / Act responsibly and respectfully /
Respect local communities and the natural environment. We reserve the right to remove any guest whose behaviour puts themselves or others at risk.

6. Itinerary Flexibility
Conditions on the water can change quickly. We may adjust routes, timings, or stops due to: Weather or sea conditions / Safety considerations / Operational requirements. Any changes are made with your safety and overall experience in mind.

7. Weather & Uncontrollable Events
Trips may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including: Weather conditions / Sea conditions / Government restrictions / Natural events. In such cases, trips may be modified, postponed, or cancelled. Refunds or rescheduling will follow our Payment Terms.

8. Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers carry their own travel insurance. Your policy should cover: Medical expenses / Emergency evacuation / Trip cancellations or delays / Loss or damage to personal belongings / Tidetribe does not provide insurance coverage.

9. Personal Responsibility
You are responsible for: Arriving on time at the agreed meeting point / Bringing appropriate clothing and gear / Safeguarding your personal belongings. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

10. Third-Party Services
We work with carefully selected local operational partners to deliver each experience. While we coordinate and curate these trips, certain services are provided by independent operators.

11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tidetribe shall not be liable for:
Injury, loss, or damage sustained during the trip / Delays, changes, or disruptions outside our control / Actions or omissions of third-parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Photography & Media
During trips, photos or videos may be taken. By participating, you agree that: Tidetribe may use this content for marketing and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be included, please let us know in advance.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
